Job Summary:
As part of our Asia Engineering Hub, we are seeking for talented and experienced Senior Product Lifecycle Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing products throughout their lifecycle, from new product introduction (NPI) to sustaining engineering. It will be involved across Semtech’s different product lines such as Signal Integrity Products, RF/LoRa Products and Capacitive Sensing PerSe Products. It will require collaboration work with design, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality, yield, and performance while driving cost and efficiency improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product lifecycle management activities in APAC responsible from NPI stage through mass production and end-of-life phases
- Analyze product performance, yield, and reliability data to identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with test engineering to optimize test programs for efficiency and cost reduction
- Drive failure analysis, root cause identification, and corrective action implementation for customer returns and production-related issues
- Work with design and process teams to resolve performance, yield, and quality issues during manufacturing
- Define and implement strategies to improve product margins, including test time reduction, yield optimization, and cost-effective sourcing.
- Support qualification of product/process changes and ensure seamless implementation into production.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in product engineering, preferably in high-speed analog/mixed-signal semiconductor products
- Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in tools such as JMP, Python, etc
- Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and product testing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across global teams and with external stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cross-functional project management in a global environment
- Knowledge of cost-reduction strategies, including yield improvement and test time optimization
- Experience in Advantest V93000 tester platform or UltraFlex is an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex technical issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong statistical test background such as PAT, SBL, SYL
