About the Role
The Senior Product Engineer is responsible for leading product engineering activities across Doodle Labs’ radio product lines and will play a key role in driving product development from design through validation and manufacturing.
In this role, you will work closely with RF, Software, Mechanical Design, NPI, Operations, and Manufacturing/Quality Assurance teams to deliver high-performance radio systems. This position will help shape product quality, manufacturability, and scalability as Doodle Labs continues to expand its radio portfolio.

What You’ll Do
- Own and drive product engineering activities for radio product lines from design through validation and manufacturing
- Lead product bring-up, debugging, testing, and validation efforts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with RF, software, mechanical, NPI, operations, and QA teams
- Drive design for manufacturability (DFM), design for test (DFT), and cost optimization initiatives
- Develop and improve test setups, automation scripts, and validation processes to improve efficiency and coverage
- Support regulatory and compliance certifications (e.g., FCC, CE)
- Manage component obsolescence and support end-of-life (EOL) transitions
- Produce and maintain technical documentation such as datasheets, integration guides, and application notes
- Mentor and guide junior product engineers
What Success Looks Like
- Successful launch and manufacturing readiness of radio products
- Improved test efficiency, validation coverage, and product quality
- Strong cross-functional collaboration across engineering and operations teams
- Reduction in manufacturing costs and improved product reliability
- Effective management of product lifecycle, including EOL transitions
Who You Are
- 6–9 years of experience in product engineering, RF systems, or related fields
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Communication Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong experience in radio/Wi-Fi product development and manufacturing support
- Hands-on expertise in hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation
- Solid understanding of quality control, validation, and production test methodologies
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Experience in wireless communication systems, RF design, or embedded hardware
- Experience in drones, robotics, or industrial IoT systems
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and large-scale production environments
- Experience supporting regulatory certifications and compliance
