About the Role:

Analog Devices is seeking to hire a senior product engineer to support the development of RF/microwave designs to be used in Communications, Test & Measurement Instrumentation, Industrial, and Aerospace and Defense.

At Analog Devices, you will lead complex electronic component development initiatives and qualification efforts for multiple product lines. You will apply your technical expertise to optimize production processes and provide guidance to junior engineers. Your role involves cross-functional collaboration to ensure product quality meets ADI's high standards of excellence. Product Engineer to support product development of microwave and communication products within our RF Systems strategy under Aerospace Defense and Communication Group Business Unit. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis and testing to ensure product performance and reliability.
  • Must have strong knowledge and hands-on experience in µWave/mmWave measurement techniques and test equipment.
  • Provide product development expertise, leading system design, development, and implementation of new products from concept to launch.
  • Lead qualification efforts for multiple product lines
  • Independently design and develop required test hardware from concept to production for the new products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product design meets customer needs and requirements.
  • Create technical documentations such as test plans, product datasheets, user guides.
  • Independently evaluate, select, and modify standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Flexibility to work on a variety of projects with various levels of difficulty.
  • Develop and maintain project work breakdown structures, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Continuously improve product development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience
  • Knowledge of the basic concepts of analog RF and microwave electronics.
  • Strong knowledge of RF engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (PCB layout tools, Cadence Allegro) and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Knowledge of the basic concepts of analog RF and microwave electronics.
  • Hands-on experience of using instruments in the lab.
  • Coursework or exposure in one or more of the following Digital Signal Processing, Wireless Communication, Digital Communication, RF Systems, RF Circuits
  • Excellent analytical skills: critical thinking, problem solving and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with the use of programming/scripting tools such as C programming, Python, LabVIEW a plus
  • Good initiative and motivation in a challenging environment.
  • Strong team worker within multi-discipline and multi-cultural environments
  • Self-motivated and fast learner with strong technical, analytical and communication skills.
