As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Epicor, you will be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing software products that deliver real business impact. You will apply strong computer science fundamentals, system design expertise, and deep JavaScript/TypeScript experience to create scalable, secure solutions. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will help translate business needs into technical solutions, improve existing products, and mentor other developers while championing best practices across the codebase.

What you will be doing
  • Understand business needs and architect, design, and develop new features aligned with technical standards and product goals
  • Collaborate with product, quality assurance, and engineering teams to deliver high‑quality, reliable software solutions
  • Build and enhance backend services with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and security
  • Evaluate and integrate tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve developer productivity and system quality
  • Mentor and support other developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing
  • Promote coding standards and best practices to ensure maintainable, reusable, and well‑documented code
  • Solve complex technical challenges while contributing to scalable, secure system designs
What you will likely bring
  • 4+ years of full‑stack development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages
  • Strong backend development experience with Node.js and REST APIs (for example, Express or Fastify)
  • Experience with TypeScript‑heavy development and modern JavaScript practices
  • Front‑end experience with React.js (preferred) or similar frameworks such as Angular or Vue
  • Solid understanding of SQL, including query writing, migrations, and performance optimization
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and event‑based or job‑processing systems
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized development workflows
  • Proven ability to work through ambiguous requirements and deliver effective, end‑to‑end solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a problem‑solving mindset

  • Experience with state management tools such as Redux and validation tools such as Zod
  • Knowledge of data communication tools including sockets
  • Understanding of permissioning models and security analysis
  • Styling and design experience using frameworks such as SASS or Tailwind
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud development and message queues, including AWS Lambda, Amazon SQS, and RabbitMQ
  • Exposure to Snowflake and system optimization techniques
  • Experience working with AI‑aware development environments or AI‑supported architectures
