The role:

We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to join our Insights squad, focusing on autonomous AI assistants and AI-assisted workflows.

You’ll design an intelligent system that guides restaurants to be more profitable. The Insights team owns the product surface that communicates key business insights to restaurant operators, building out a suite of Nory AI assistants and defining how demand forecasting – a foundational activity for restaurant businesses – will be made even more accurate, explainable and trustworthy in the age of AI.

You’ll own and shape end-to-end experiences across the product, see your work in production faster than you thought possible and will work closely with your team and our customers.

This isn’t a role where you’re handed tickets. You’ll help define what we build, not just how it looks.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll work in tight loops with product managers, engineers, and customers to build and ship high-impact work for restaurant operators and employees.

• Design UX patterns for AI assistants and automation, helping define how works get done not just in Nory, but the entire hospitality industry

• Help make AI assistant behaviour consistent across the entire Nory product, not just a single surface

• Partner with the Insights team and our customers to create and ship solutions that deliver real business outcomes, are trustworthy and effective

• Contribute to and evolve Bento, our design system

• Prototype your ideas quickly – in Figma, code or whatever helps move the fastest

• Iterate based on customer feedback

What you’ll bring:

We’re looking for exceptional builders – people who care about impact, not just output.

• End-to-end experience: Senior level experience shipping B2B SaaS products, across both 0→1 and 1→10 environments

• Outcome focus: You tie your work to measurable user and business impact

• Systems thinking: You think in systems, not screens

• Prototyping mindset: You use prototypes to explore, test, and communicate ideas quickly. You spec and build prototypes with LLMs and code, not just Figma.

• User empathy and curiosity: You understand operational users working in fast-paced, real-world environments. You spend time with our users and improve the product based on their direct feedback.

• High agency: You take ownership, move fast, and thrive in ambiguity

• Collaboration: You work closely with engineers, PMs, and leadership to shape solutions

• Learning mindset: You actively seek feedback and continuously raise your bar

Nice to have:

• Experience in hospitality or operational products

• Experience with data-heavy or AI-driven products

• Experience contributing to or building design systems
