We’re adding exceptional talent to drive our next phase of growth, and that’s where you come in.

About the Role

Dorsia is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help define the future of our digital product experience. This role is for a seasoned designer who combines exceptional craft with strategic thinking and cross-functional leadership.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will own significant product initiatives end-to-end, help shape product vision, and raise the bar for design quality across the organization. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and leadership to deliver intuitive, elegant, and high-impact experiences that resonate with a discerning, high-end audience.

Your work will span interaction design, systems thinking, and experience design, grounded in a user-centered process that balances member needs, business goals, and technical realities.

  • Create high-quality, well-documented design solutions that are buildable and durable over time
  • Maintain a strong understanding of business objectives, data, and engineering constraints to deliver meaningful member value

Scope & Ownership

  • Own complex design problems from early discovery through launch and iteration
  • Lead design execution for major product initiatives while contributing to broader product strategy and roadmap discussions
  • Translate ambiguous business and user needs into clear, cohesive, and scalable design solutions

Process

  • Build a deep understanding of members through research, data, and usability testing
  • Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept through high-fidelity execution
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering leads to ensure design intent is clearly communicated and implemented
  • Design at the appropriate level of fidelity and exercise strong judgment when making tradeoffs

Systems & Quality

  • Drive the evolution of Dorsia’s design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across the product
  • Advocate for high craft standards, accessibility, and user-centered design across the organization

Communication & Collaboration

  • Communicate design work and rationale clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
  • Proactively collaborate with peers, facilitate design discussions, and incorporate feedback from diverse perspectives
  • Build strong, trusting relationships across product, engineering, and growth teams

  • 5+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products, with a strong focus on mobile
  • A portfolio demonstrating high-quality UI and UX work, strong design judgment, and end-to-end ownership

  • Strong foundation in UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design
  • Demonstrated experience building, scaling, and maintaining design systems
  • Experience using research and data to inform design decisions and measure impact
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across disciplines
Preferred Experience
  • Experience designing for luxury, high-end, hospitality, or lifestyle brands
  • Familiarity with React Native or cross-platform mobile design considerations
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment
  • Familiarity with emerging AI-enabled design, development, and creative tools (e.g., Cursor, Figma MCP, Midjourney, Runway, or similar), and an interest in using them thoughtfully to enhance exploration, prototyping, and design quality.

Workplace Philosophy at Dorsia

At Dorsia, we believe that culture eats strategy. The best ideas in the world mean nothing without the right people around the table and the right chemistry between them. We are, unapologetically, a people-first organization.

In-Person Matters

We’re creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for the most discerning audience in the world. That doesn’t happen over Zoom. It happens through collisions: a spark across a desk, a kitchen-side conversation that unlocks a partnership, the energy of ideas felt, not typed. That’s why in-office culture is non-negotiable at Dorsia.

Who We Hire

We don’t subscribe to check-the-box hiring. We hire for merit and mindset, which naturally creates a team with varied backgrounds. What unites us isn’t demographics, it’s a shared vision: to build the social operating system for the cultural vanguard.

Lifestyle Hours

We’re not a 9-to-5 company. Our lifestyle mirrors our members. Early flights, after-work events, and late-night sprints when the work demands it. But we love what we do, and we definitely love a good party.

High Performance Culture

Working at Dorsia isn’t for everyone—and that’s the point. Our culture is designed for builders, not passengers. We move fast, set ambitious standards, and expect people to rise to them. If you have the talent and the drive, this will be a ride to remember.

A Final Word

We’re building something special. It will take long hours and relentless effort. It’s not for everyone. For those with the metabolism, you’ll create something that changes how culture is lived. And that’s the kind of work worth your life’s energy.

What We Do

The process of restaurant discovery, booking, and payments is broken. We’re here to change that. We’re building frictionless technology that optimizes revenue for restaurants and experiences for members, and we’re on a mission to overhaul the culture and economy of the hospitality industry along the way. Developed by proven leaders across hospitality, media, and consumer-tech, Dorsia’s revenue optimization model solves supply-and-demand inefficiencies in the restaurant industry by mutually guaranteeing tables for diners and revenue for restaurants. By bridging dynamic pricing and seamless processes, Dorsia is creating a curated marketplace where it hasn’t existed before, powering the most coveted restaurants of our time. We are currently in the Beta launch phase in New York City and The Hamptons, with plans to expand to Miami, Los Angeles, and additional culinary cities this Fall.
