Key Responsibilites
- Lead end-to-end design projects from early discovery and ideation to final UI execution and delivery
- Come up with features and improvements that ship quickly and with high-quality
- Work closely with fellow designers, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure design vision is realized and integrated across functions
- Create flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals for your features
- Keep abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure Way remains at the cutting edge of design innovation
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of proven experience in a senior design role at a fast growth tech company, ideally in the software space
- Passion for design and figuring out best-in-class solutions to UI & UX challenges
- World-class design & product taste
- Portfolio showcasing UI/UX work on real, shipped products — not speculative or concept-only designs
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in team building and mentoring.
- Proficiency in Figma
- Experience with design systems, programming (optional but valued), and AI technical tools (v0, etc)
- Candidates are required to be located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX. Way is building a workplace environment of team members who are passionate and excited to be together in person at its space in downtown Austin to continue to enable our fast-paced growth trajectory.
