About the Role:

The Senior Product Designer is a key player in the product development lifecycle, taking ownership of complex product areas and driving the strategic direction of the product design. Your responsibilities include setting advanced design requirements, conducting in-depth user research and market analysis, and staying updated on industry trends. You will mentor junior designers, ensuring high standards and consistency within the design team. Collaborating closely with engineering teams, you'll drive high-level product enhancements and present sophisticated design strategies to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Your expertise and leadership will contribute significantly to Mindvalley's global mission of delivering impactful products.


Responsibilities:

Design Leadership:

    • Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches.
    • Mentor junior designers and help them grow their design skills.
    • Develop and implement user experience strategies in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
    • Lead user research and synthesize feedback into actionable design improvements.

Design Execution & Collaboration:

    • Define interaction models, user task flows, and UI specifications.
    • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers and stakeholders.
    • Incorporate user feedback, technical constraints, and usability findings into design.


Technical Competencies:

  • Advanced User Research: Expertise in comprehensive user research methods to inform complex design decisions.
  • Leadership in Facilitation: Strong leadership in group meetings, fostering high-level idea generation and outcomes.
  • Strategic Design: Skilled in translating complex user research into sophisticated design solutions.
  • Advanced UI Design: Expertise in creating high-fidelity, appealing, and coherent user interfaces for complex systems.
  • In-depth Data Analysis: Proficient in advanced qualitative and quantitative data analysis to inform design decisions.

  • Experience in mentoring or leading junior designers.
