With millions of customers worldwide, we're not just changing how people access financial products — we're creating a new credit system that backs the working, whatever they're working toward.

The Opportunity: Senior Product Designer

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of Tilt products. You’ll own complex, high-impact product experiences across areas such as cash management, financial wellness, transaction-related tools, and others.

This is an individual contributor role for a designer who combines strong product thinking and UX fundamentals with exceptional visual and UI craft. You’ll join a collaborative design team and work closely with product managers, engineers, and other partners to turn ambiguous opportunities into thoughtful, intuitive experiences.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead end-to-end design for a meaningful portion of our product ecosystem, from early exploration through launch and iteration.

  • Translate complex financial concepts and workflows into clear, approachable customer experiences.

  • Set a high bar for interaction design, visual design, and overall product quality.

  • Partner closely with product managers and engineers to define problems, explore possibilities, and make thoughtful tradeoffs.

  • Bring a strong design point of view to cross-functional conversations and advocate constructively for customers and design quality.

  • Use research, data, business context, and sound design judgment to guide decisions.

  • Help shape an evolving product area and contribute to the development of its broader UI patterns and systems.

  • Present work clearly and build alignment among partners with different perspectives and priorities.

  • Contribute to the team’s design culture through critique, collaboration, and mentorship.

  • Apply AI-enabled tools thoughtfully where they improve the design process, while keeping human judgment and customer needs at the center.

Why You're a Great Fit
  • Significant experience designing and shipping complex digital products, ideally within fintech, financial services, commerce, transportation, or another multi-stakeholder environment.

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong UX thinking alongside polished visual and UI execution.

  • Experience owning ambiguous product spaces and moving work forward without a fully defined path.

  • Strong interaction-design fundamentals and exceptional attention to detail.

  • The confidence to advocate for design while remaining open, collaborative, and pragmatic.

  • Experience working closely with product management and engineering throughout the development process.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to explain decisions and bring partners along.

  • Good judgment about when to challenge assumptions, when to seek additional context, and when to make a decision.

  • Practical familiarity with AI tools and an informed perspective on how they can support product-design work.

Nice to Have
  • Experience designing consumer financial products, including cash management, banking, budgeting, payments, or financial-wellness tools.

  • Experience contributing to or evolving a design system.

  • Experience working within a product organization whose teams, processes, or product strategy were undergoing change.

What Success Looks Like

During your first few months, you’ll develop a deep understanding of our customers, products, and business; build trusted relationships with your design and cross-functional partners; and establish design as an integral part of the product-development process.

Over time, you’ll take clear ownership of your space, raise the quality of its customer experience, and help the team make better product decisions through a combination of craft, curiosity, and conviction.

Why Join Us
  • Own an important and evolving area of the product with meaningful customer impact.

  • Help define both the experience and visual direction of a complex financial ecosystem.

  • Join a team that values strong design judgment, constructive debate, and thoughtful collaboration.

  • Work directly with product-minded partners who care deeply about customers and shipping useful products.

  • Influence how design operates as the broader product organization continues to evolve.

Don’t meet every qualification? We care about potential over your past. If you're bringing ambition and drive to what we're building, we want to hear from you.

What you'll get at Tilt
  • Virtual-first teamwork: The Tilt team is collaborating across 14 countries, 12 time zones, and counting. You’ll get started with a WFH office reimbursement.
