The Role
Lead end-to-end product design for an AI-native enterprise supply‑chain platform: shape product strategy, conduct user research, craft interaction and visual design, collaborate with Product and Engineering, and use qualitative and quantitative data to iterate and improve enterprise workflows.
Summary Generated by Built In

Raft is building the enterprise AI platform for supply chain - the industry that literally keeps the world moving.
We’ve built deep credibility in the supply chain sector, partnering with more than 60 global leaders to eliminate manual processes, unify fragmented systems, and unlock intelligence at scale. Along the way, we’ve raised $45M from Bessemer Venture Partners and Eight Roads to accelerate this mission.

With the launch of our next-generation agentic platform, we’re doubling down on our supply chain roots while laying the groundwork to expand into adjacent sectors. Designed to handle messy data, fragmented systems, and people-intensive workflows, our platform is already proving its versatility.

Design something that truly matters

At Raft, we’re building tools that power the global movement of goods — and we believe design has a critical role to play. Our platform helps those in the logistics industry work more efficiently, and our products are used for hours every single day by the people who keep supply chains running. That means every design decision you make has a direct impact on someone’s day-to-day work and quality of life.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to design and shape our product. This is a rare opportunity to join early on. You’ll be joining a small but mighty team that genuinely loves helping each other grow. We believe deeply in craft, collaboration, and improving the status quo in an industry that's been overlooked for far too long.

What you’ll be doing
  • Own a product area: you’ll take charge of designing key flows in Raft’s logistic platform.

  • Drive a full end-to-end design process: from user research and journey mapping through to wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and handoff.

  • Turn real insights into real outcomes: we’ve already secured access to end users — no guessing games or fake personas.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success) and external client teams.

  • Advocate for users and bring clarity to complex workflows in a fast-moving environment.

  • Shape our design culture: collaborate with other designers who care deeply about craft, mentoring, and shipping great work.

You should apply if you...
  • Have strong experience designing B2B SaaS platforms, especially ones with complex workflows or enterprise users.

  • Have worked end-to-end, from research to UI.

  • Have a solid craft, creating designs that are well thought through and visually pleasing.

  • Love getting into the messy middle — researching, simplifying, iterating, and polishing.

  • Are comfortable navigating ambiguity: shaping problems, identifying opportunities, and working without a detailed spec.

  • Communicate clearly and confidently, especially when collaborating with engineers or presenting to stakeholders.

  • Enjoy taking initiative, and owning your work.

  • Want to join a team that balances high standards with low ego.

This role might not be for you if...
  • You’re just focused on visual design or UI polish, but not the UX or research side.

  • You’ve only worked on incremental improvements and never designed new flows or features.

  • You’ve only worked on marketing sites or mobile apps and haven’t designed complex systems.

  • You prefer working on specs handed to you, rather than leading your own discovery.

  • You’re not comfortable speaking up in cross-functional conversations or with external stakeholders.

  • Location: London (hybrid — 3 days/week in-office). Candidates must have the right to work in the UK; we're unable to offer visa sponsorship.

Why Raft?

Supply chain is the last great industry to be transformed by software. We're here to make it happen — and we need people who grab problems, not assignments.

  • We move quickly, and the bar is high. You won't be handed a roadmap. You'll identify what needs solving, build toward it, and own the outcome end-to-end.

  • Impact is the measure. We don't track activity. We care about what actually moves the needle — for our customers, our product, and the industry we're reshaping.

  • The problem is real, and the scale is global. The supply chain industry moves $19 trillion of goods a year. We're building the AI workforce that makes it run smarter. Your work will matter.

  • You'll operate with autonomy. No micromanagement. No waiting for permission. We hire people who are self-directed and trust them to deliver.

  • We're a multicultural team building something unprecedented. We work with the clarity and urgency of a team that knows what's at stake.

If you care about impact and want your work to shape the future of AI supply chain — you'll thrive here.

Skills Required

  • Significant experience designing digital products, ideally B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Strong startup experience and comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Compelling portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design for complex systems.
  • Proven experience conducting user research and applying customer-centered design methods.
  • Deep passion and strong craft in UI and interaction design, including motion and copy sensibility.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to operate as a design leader within squads, raising quality through critique and collaboration.
  • Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate usage and prioritize design improvements.
  • Location: London, hybrid (3 days/week in-office).
  • Right to work in the UK; employer does not offer visa sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design or related field.
