Key Responsibilities
- Represent and advocate for users by gaining a thorough understanding of their goals, challenges, and behaviors, and ensuring their needs are reflected throughout the product development lifecycle
- Conduct user research to identify ride-hailing users' problems and needs
- Partner closely with product managers, analysts, researchers, and engineers to prioritize problems, define product direction, and make data-informed decisions
- Use product metrics and user insights to understand the impact of design decisions, formulate hypotheses, and measure success
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from problem definition and concept exploration to prototyping, validation, and final UI delivery
- Design, test, and iterate on multiple solution concepts, balancing user needs with business objectives and technical constraints
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation, refine solutions through experimentation, and analyze A/B test results
- Create polished, production-ready designs, cover edge cases and interaction states, and contribute to the evolution of the design system when new components are needed
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 5+ years of experience in product design (mobile-facing products)
- Strong experience conducting both qualitative and quantitative user research
- Deep understanding of UX/UI principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Advanced proficiency in Figma
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and defend design decisions
- Strong discovery skills, including problem framing, hypothesis generation, and solution validation
- Practical understanding of AI tools and workflows, knowing where AI can accelerate the design process and where human judgment is essential
- Experience working in an international company
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- A portfolio demonstrating successful UX and UI projects with measurable product impact
