As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll lead the design of mobile tools for our cabin crew, shaping strategy and delivering scalable, high-quality solutions that balance the needs of our people, the business, and the customer experience. You'll be hands-on across the entire product journey—from discovering fresh ideas and digging into research, to shaping the experience and seeing your designs through to launch and ongoing improvement. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations and Service teams, making sure we deliver seamless, end-to-end experiences for our people and that your design vision stays front and centre from concept to delivery.
You'll set the standard for quality and act as a trusted advisor, guiding your teammates to lift their skills and ways of working. You’ll have:
- 7+ years of experience in Service Design, UX, UI, CX, and/or a similar role.
- Tertiary qualification in Design, Human-Centered Design (HCD), or a relevant field.
- Strong understanding of design for native apps, conversational interfaces, and other digital platforms.
- Strategic thinking to deliver innovative outcomes aligned with brief and brand.
- Ability to focus on objectives and deliverables at both technical and creative levels,
always user-centric. - Experience developing and promoting a product vision collaboratively.
- Experienced in concept development, wireframing, persona creation, user stories and
user testing. - Experience working with design systems and creating user interface.
- Proficiency in modern frameworks and rituals: Lean, Design Thinking, Scrum,
Kanban. - Thorough knowledge of usability and accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.0
AA. - Experience using modern industry tools such as Miro, Figma, Lovable, ClaudeCode,
Cursor, and Adobe Creative Suite; collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence. - Practical experience using AI tools to streamline design handover to developers and
generate code (e.g., Figma's AI plugins, ClaudeCode, Cursor, Lovable).
- Advanced logical reasoning and sound decision-making, including numerical
analysis. - Ability to identify and address flawed logic and coach teams to resolve errors.
- Proven ability to solve high-impact design challenges in large, complex
organisations. - Expert facilitation skills, with a track record of successful outcomes.
- Inspirational leadership for both direct and remote teams.
- Clear communication of design concepts to stakeholders, adapting to the audience.
- Extensive knowledge of current digital design standards and industry trends.
