The Job

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer (UX & UI) who is passionate about UX, design, and product development. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in all stages of the design process while prioritizing the needs of the customer.

In this role, you will collaborate with other designers and cross-functional team members, including product managers, developers, and fellow designers, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data to inform your decision-making process.

By partnering with cross-functional teams and customers, you will turn your insights into delightful and innovative design in a creative environment that requires proven leadership skills and the ability to execute a creative vision.

Your Day-to-Day Role

  • Set design requirements based on information from internal teams and user research.
  • Identify new product improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze how a new product satisfies market needs and consumer preferences.
  • Modify and revise existing designs to meet changing customer preferences.
  • Work closely with product managers to suggest improvements for products and processes.
  • Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams.
  • Define and maintain a comprehensive design system, encompassing visual language and standards, to create cohesive application style guides for developers.

Your Work Experience

  • 5+ years (at least 3 of them in the product team, working on SaaS, B2B, complex systems) of proven experience in all phases of the design process, including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing
  • Proficiency in gathering and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative feedback.
  • Skilled in working with colleagues from various functions and effectively conveying design ideas
  • A strong track record of getting things done with experience in building products from the ground up
  • An innovator who can plan the high-level strategy but at the same time drill down to the low-level details
  • A natural problem solver with sharp analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
  • An intuitive eye for customer needs beyond the obvious
  • Passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve
  • Strong design layout principles and typography knowledge, pixel-perfect attitude, with attention to the smallest of details
  • Mastery of Figma, prototyping, and other relevant tools
  • Experience working with Agile and Lean product development methodologies.
  • A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives
  • BA/BS degree or higher in Design, Design Communications, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent combination of education and experience in other related fields
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Having Salesforce knowledge and data analytics skills is a plus!

Important Details

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of 3 days a week to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
