These are just a few of the challenges a Senior Product Designer will work on as part of Wise’s global mission to build an open, fair, and human financial system. Right now we move £6 billion every month for over 12 million people. But we're only 2% done — because people without borders deserve money without borders.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be working with the cross-functional teams that make up Receive — a squad that helps millions of people and businesses get paid.
The Receive squad is central to Wise’s mission of building an open, fair and human financial system and is the foundation of our global account.
In this role, you’ll enable customers to receive money from all over the world — quickly, easily and with absolute confidence. It might be a new business getting paid by their first customer, friends paying each other back after a meal out, or larger companies regularly receiving millions of pounds, yen or dollars.
Those payments could be made through a payment link or invoice, to a customer’s account details, or straight from one Wise account to another.
But every single payment is important — no matter what size or how it’s made. So, you’ll invest time deeply understanding our customers and their needs, designing and delivering experiences that make these transactions clear, engaging and effortless.
Here’s how you’ll contribute:
Get to know our customers, building empathy and a deep understanding of their needs
Use your expertise to discover, design and deliver simple, beautifully crafted, intuitive experiences that customers love
Influence teams and stakeholders to increase customer-centeredness, creativity, and content quality across the squad
Champion the Wise brand and its carefully considered implementation
Work with designers from other squads to build a single, seamless experience for customers
This role will give you the opportunity to:

Work at across a range of product types from 0-1 all the way to core features

About you:
Accomplished Senior Product Designer with experience shipping world-class consumer products
Hands on experience delivering creative and product content in fast paced, engineering-led environments
Strong collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional teams
You’re comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity — and can successfully collaborate in this environment
Familiarity with design processes and experience validating how design solves real customer problems
Exceptional design craft and a desire for quality
Willingness to give and receive constructive feedback
Heads up, this probably isn’t for you if:
Your experience is mostly in marketing, advertising, or social media – and you have no hands-on experience of product design or UX.
You’re not comfortable navigating complexity and working in a fast-paced environment

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.
We expect new joiners in the office most days to build connections and learn from colleagues for their first six months. After that, most Wisers split their working week between the office and home, typically coming in at least 12 times a month.
