About The Role
Imagine being a designer tasked with making the most advanced AI infrastructure feel as intuitive as your favorite developer tool. At Cerebras, we plan to build consoles and onboarding experiences that make impossibly powerful AI accessible to developers and organizations. This product designer will own the UX strategy for this end-to-end experience.
In addition, you will also design cutting-edge application demos that showcase our AI platform's unique capabilities, with opportunities to invent new forms of interactivity.
This role requires an AI-native mindset, obsessive attention to polish and craft, and strong prototyping/coding abilities to bring designs to life. You will lead our UX thinking and help define how developers interact with the world's fastest AI inference platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end product experiences for our Developer Console, Admin Console, and onboarding that make impossibly fast AI feel effortless to use.
- Prototype novel applications and interactive demos that showcase AI capabilities no one has seen before.
- Invent new interaction patterns specifically for real-time AI experiences and define the design language for AI-native interfaces.
- Run projects end-to-end with engineering teams, from initial concept through pixel-perfect shipped product.
- Partner with AI researchers, product teams, and customer success to understand how developers work with cutting-edge AI and translate those insights into intuitive experiences.
- Create design systems and patterns that scale as we introduce capabilities that push the boundaries of what AI can do.
Skills And Qualifications
- You have 5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional craft and the ability to lead complex projects independently.
- You're AI-native in your thinking and understand how LLMs, inference, and developer workflows intersect with great user experience.
- You balance craft with speed and business impact. You care deeply about polish but understand when to ship and iterate.
- You have strong design opinions but listen well and collaborate effectively with engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders.
- You excel at untangling complex technical concepts and have sharp intuition for making advanced AI capabilities feel accessible and intuitive.
- You understand how to communicate design decisions through both visual storytelling and clear reasoning.
Assets
- You have strong coding/prototyping skills (JavaScript, React, Python, or similar) with ability to build functional demos.
- You've designed developer tools, cloud platforms, or enterprise software that technical users love.
- You bring unique perspectives to AI interface design and have thoughts on where the field should go.
