Senior Product Designer (d/f/m)

You will join our B2C team made up of web, Android, and iOS developers, focused on building and improving a mobile banking app and onboarding experience for the ADAC project. In this role, you will be the team’s dedicated product designer, collaborating closely with stakeholders across marketing, legal, and other departments to deliver a seamless and user-centered customer experience.

• Take ownership, push for design excellence, drive the product design vision and help the company grow its design maturity and processes
• Continuously improve usability, accessibility and aesthetics of our existing products
• Work closely with product owners, internal and external stakeholders and tech teams
• Accompany the entire design and development process from feature/project kick-off to launch
• Stay up to date with latest FinTech and mobile banking design trends

Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities and scope of role will range. We don’t care much about fancy titles, but rather about real personal and professional development, as laid out in our learning framework. Let’s figure together out how you can contribute to our team.

• 5+ years of experience as digital product or UI/UX designer 
• A user centric mindset with a passion for details, but also the ability to zoom out to a holistic product view and think pragmatically and strategically
• Experience with mobile interfaces (iOS, Android) and responsive web design and according software to design them (e.g. Figma)
• Strong UI design skills (typography, layout, interaction patterns, usability, accessibility, aesthetics)
• Practical experience with qualitative and quantitative UX research methods (interviews, user testing, surveys, metrics …)
• Experience with designing financial products is a plus
• Basic technical understanding of frontend tech and APIs is a plus
• Business language fluent in both English, and German to be able to run user interviews in German language 
• Degree in any creative discipline (e.g. Interface Design, Communication Design, Interaction Design)
