We are currently looking for a Senior Product Designer (all genders) based in the European Union. 


Your mission with us:


As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a key role in crafting engaging and impactful student experiences. Reporting to the Head of Design, you will be essential to Lingoda's growth as we expand our team, business, and products.


You will collaborate within a cross-functional Pod alongside the Product Manager, Engineers, and QA team, with support from our User Research and Product Analytics teams.

Your tasks:

  • Work closely with Product Management, User Experience Research, Digital Education, and Engineering to align design strategies with business goals and technical capabilities
  • Transform ideas into successful intuitive designs. Your role: infuse user experience in every detail, from concept to final design, shaping the product's future with clarity and creativity
  • Ensure aesthetic, layout, composition, and information architecture align with the overall Lingoda ecosystem
  • Contribute to the enhancement of design processes within the organisation to optimise efficiency and quality
  • Use data and metrics (such as conversion rate, user retention and engagement metrics) to inform design decisions and measure the impact of design changes
  • Contribute to user stories and ensure that our engineering team has the appropriate designs, assets, and guidelines to be able to successfully develop the designs
  • Support the creation of experiments, like A/B tests or multivariate tests, to optimise our product
  • Identify new user needs and generate innovative ideas
  • Give and receive feedback in design critiques and product conversations. Pair-design to improve the work, ideate, and have fun together

You bring to Lingoda:

  • Preferably 5+ years of experience in design
  • Experience with industry-standard product design tools such as Figma, Miro, Hotjar, and UserTesting, among others
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present your work and bring key stakeholders on board. You are confident in your ideas but open to learning from others
  • The ability to conceptualise, work in low and high fidelity, deliver solid visual design & communicate your work and rationale
  • Systems thinking and the ability to apply a design system and contribute to it by extrapolating patterns and behaviours from a specific instance to the larger experience and vice versa
  • An up-to-date portfolio that demonstrates your skills
  • You have an experimental mindset

  • Past experience working on Mobile Apps
  • Experience in EdTech
