Be at the heart of building the next generation of Digital Self-Service capabilities for Chase.
As a Senior Associate Product Manager on the Digital SSE team, you will help build the agentic platform that powers Chase's Digital Self-Service products for consumer banking customers. Serving as the foundation of the overall system, this platform provides the reusable components that enable teams to build, onboard, and scale agentic experiences with speed, quality, and consistency. You will partner with product owners, designers, engineering leads, and analytics experts to federate this build-out across the enterprise. A high-level understanding of LLMs, natural language understanding, and agentic AI concepts is beneficial.
Above all, you will bring strong delivery and execution skills — leading the work of multiple scrum teams, translating initiatives into epics and stories, and driving progress by removing impediments and coordinating dependencies across teams to deliver with quality and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Product Managers to create, prioritize, and execute the backlog for the agentic platform — translating initiatives into well-formed epics, stories, and process flows that define the roadmap and timelines, prioritized against the team's quarterly goals and capacity
- Independently manage large, complex delivery projects with an eye toward efficiency, process improvement, and adherence to business readiness and controls
- Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics against time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
- Participate in and help drive daily scrum stand-ups and other agile ceremonies, answering questions and maintaining team momentum
- Actively identify and resolve impediments early — escalating when needed and partnering with Agility and PMO teams to manage dependencies across external teams
- Participate in discovery and requirements definition as needed to support product development
- Provide proactive visibility and clearly communicate delivery targets, commitments, and progress
- Create a climate in which people want to do their best — motivating and empowering others by inviting input and sharing ownership and visibility
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 3+ years of product management or relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience with agile product development and the software delivery lifecycle, including hands-on experience with supporting tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- A working familiarity with AI and agentic concepts — such as LLMs and natural language understanding — and how they apply to building platform products
- Hands-on experience using LLMs and AI-powered tools to drive personal and team productivity
- Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and motivate a team with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills and developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
Preferred qualifications, capabilities & skills
- 3+ years of technical acumen as a product owner is desired
- Strategic thinking and thought leadership, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional partners
- Understanding of agentic patterns such as orchestration, tool use, multi-step reasoning, and human-in-the-loop design. Awareness of Responsible AI principles — safety, fairness, and governance — and comfort delivering AI products within a regulated environment
- Experience with:
- Automation, such as automated test-case generation and closed-loop feedback mechanisms to continuously improve agent quality
- Data instrumentation — the logging, telemetry, and metrics that enable agentic systems to be measured and improved over time
- Outcome-driven and self-motivated, with a willingness to experiment, learn quickly, and thrive in an emerging, start-up-like environment. A passion for digital, AI, and emerging technologies
