We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our Engineering & Product organization. This isn't a traditional "pull the data for this dashboard" role. You will be a strategic partner to our engineering and product leaders, acting as the "eyes and ears" of our roadmap. You will find the signals in the noise, anticipate bottlenecks before they happen, and define the metrics that guide our journey into an AI-first world.

The future of BI and analytics is shifting from "static dashboards" to "agentic insights." At Atlan, we believe that metadata is the fuel for this transition. As a Senior Product Analyst, you aren't just measuring what happened yesterday; you are helping us define the future of how AI interacts with data.

You will be embedded deeply within Engineering and Product, working as a proactive force. You don’t wait for a ticket to be assigned—you hunt for the data patterns that tell us where our product should go next.

• Be AI-Native: Leverage AI and LLMs not just in the product, but in your own workflow. You will help define how we measure the efficacy of Atlan AI, agentic workflows, and the "readiness" of our customers’ data for the AI era.

• Proactive Signal Discovery: You won’t just report on KPIs; you will find the hidden signals. Whether it’s identifying a drop in connector performance or discovering a "power user" pattern in a new feature, you bring the "why" to the "what."

• Guide the Roadmap: Work side-by-side with Engineering and Product leads to pressure-test our strategy. Your insights will directly influence what we build next, ensuring we are solving the most high-leverage problems for our users.

• Full-Stack Ownership: From instrumenting new events in our codebase to building complex models that predict product-led growth to jumping into any cross functional data projects, you own the data lifecycle for any data problems

• Strategic Storytelling: Translate complex engineering metrics into strategic narratives for our leadership team, helping us understand the health of our platform and the velocity of our innovation.

• AI Visionary: You have a clear perspective on how AI is changing the data landscape. You understand that the future of analytics isn't just better charts, but autonomous context and intelligent automation. You worked with not just structured data but have started getting your hands dirty with unstructured data as well and LLMs+data projects.

• The "Owner" Mindset: You are intensely proactive. You thrive in "chaos" and love the challenge of building a function from the ground up. You don't wait for a problem to be assigned; you find patterns and problems and bring ideas and solution.

• Analytical Powerhouse: You are a master of SQL and a programming language such as python, with experience in the modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, etc.). You’ve worked with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude etc) and know how to instrument for growth. But you are well aware of how these can be leveraged and are evolving with AI.

• Engineering Empathy: You understand how software is built. You can speak the language of engineers and understand the trade-offs between technical debt and feature velocity.

• 2+ Years of Experience: You’ve spent significant time in high-growth SaaS environments, ideally within data, infrastructure, or developer tools.
