Role Overview

As a Senior Product Analyst, you will play a critical role at the intersection of strategy, data, and product execution. You will support high priority initiatives including our metabolic health strategy, client transitions into next generation pharmacy solutions, and the ongoing optimization of our in-market product portfolio.

If you reside near Minnetonka, MN , you'll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote position* as you take on some tough challenges. This position follows a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support strategy to execution
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable insights, analyses, and execution plans
- Use quantitative data including membership, revenue, IOI, and affordability metrics to track performance and measure product success
- Develop data driven recommendations and executive ready materials to inform decision making and gain stakeholder alignment
Drive client transition excellence
- Support the transition of clients into new pharmacy offerings across underwriting, implementation, and operations
- Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies and proactively drive resolution
- Partner with sales, account management, and operations to ensure readiness and successful delivery
Manage and optimize in market products
- Monitor product performance, identify trends, and recommend enhancements to improve growth and client value
- Support ongoing product management activities including benefit updates, configuration changes, and issue resolution
- Contribute to a disciplined approach to managing in-market products and continuous improvement
Advance product development and growth
- Support new product development ideas with strong analysis, financial modeling, and presentations to gain buy in from senior leadership across E&I, UHCP, and OptumRx
- Demonstrate thought leadership in identifying growth strategies and opportunities to expand product adoption
- Apply both agile and waterfall methodologies to support product development from concept through launch
Enable cross functional collaboration
- Work closely with UHC and OptumRx marketing teams to refine product value stories and recommend training and communication strategies to unlock growth
- Influence across a highly matrixed environment including Product, OptumRx, Finance, Sales, and Operations
- Support coordination with vendor and point solution partners
- Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
Advance innovation and market insight
- Stay informed on market dynamics including specialty drug trends, regulatory changes, PBM and payer landscape shifts
- Contribute to new product concepts and enhancements that address emerging client and member needs
- Bring a continuous improvement mindset and challenge the status quo

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in health insurance, managed pharmacy, PBM, pharmaceutical manufacturer, or related industries
- 4+ years of experience in product strategy, development, or management
- 4+ years of experience working in a matrixed organization and influencing cross functional stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharmacy, specialty drug management, or metabolic health solutions
- Understanding of regulatory environments, PBM, and payer dynamics
- Experience supporting client implementations or transitions
- Demonstrated success building growth strategies and launching new products
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
