Job Description:
At SMG, we turn our patented DAFUZ system to create award winning titles including LEGO Party! Moving Out, Thumb Drift, and One More Line. We love building fun first games and we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Producer on a 2-year contract to lead our people, systems, and ideas to help great games get made brilliantly. This is a senior role for someone equally comfortable driving complex production at scale as you are empowering teams to do their best work.
We'll be running this project out of the Sydney studio, but offer remote working or have offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide you could work from – we just need full Australian working rights.
If you're on top of your game (or would like to be) and care about your work, then let’s talk. Please apply with your CV and cover letter.
Core responsibilities:
Own and drive production strategy across multiple workstreams, ensuring teams are aligned, timelines are met, and delivery risks are proactively managed
Lead cross-functional teams to remove blockers, optimise workflows, and maintain a high bar for quality and player experience
Oversee and improve production tools and systems (Jira, Google Suite, Slack, reporting frameworks), including asset pipelines, forecasting, and performance tracking
Partner with studio leadership to plan, scope, and deliver against key milestones, contributing to product and business strategy
Foster a strong team culture for SMG by mentoring producers and championing best practice
A bit about you:
A love of games!
You consistently deliver results. You have gained solid experience as a Producer/Senior Producer ideally within games or digital production, managing complex projects across budgets, resources, schedules, and scope
An excellent communicator who can align stakeholders, simplify complex challenges, and drive clear decision-making
Calm, adaptable, and solutions-focused under pressure, with strong leadership and collaboration skills, elevating those around you
What’s in it for you:
The opportunity to give back with dedicated volunteer leave and our whole-company event, One Day for Change.
5 weeks annual leave after 2 years of service and 3 whole company Wellness days off per year for you to switch off and take your day, your way.
Career Development and Learning & Development opportunities, including access to our global online dentsu university.
Become a champion for meaningful progress:
Our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so. For us, this is the foundation for great innovation which, in turn, generates better outcomes for our people, partners and communities. This is why we encourage applications from people with disabilities, and of all ages, nationalities, backgrounds and cultures.
If you want to belong to a one global network where opportunities are limitless – we look forward to welcoming you.
