Reporting to the Director of Procurement you, the Senior Procurement Specialist, will manage the purchasing of ingredient materials with consideration to price, quality, logistics, reliability, and urgency of need. You will be accountable for research, high-level problem resolution, complex negotiations, master data analysis, and project management. You'll collaborate with other departments to identify process improvement opportunities.

Position Responsibilities

  • Plan activities related to the categories of spend managed.
  • Prepare contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications
  • Oversee all activities related to procurement of a material, from intent to purchase through delivery of the material.
  • Negotiate complex requests for materials or services.
  • Build relationships with multiple cross-functional teams
  • Recruit and maintain suppliers that provide high quality products and services at competitive prices while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
  • Review and resolve vendor claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
  • Champion change management initiatives to embrace, integrate, and use demand-driven principles within Procurement and throughout the company.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years' experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance or Related filled
  • Project management
  • Continuous improvement mindset and methodology
  • Excel – Intermediate level
  • In the office 3 days per week, Tuesday - Thursday
