As a Senior Procurement Project Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's procurement projects and initiatives. You will play a pivotal part in driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment across the procurement function.
You will report directly to our Procurement Manager, and you will work out of our Northford, CT location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of procurement projects by leveraging your expertise in project management, cost savings, and process improvements across our procurement operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee procurement projects from initiation to completion, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery, ensuring projects are executed within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks specific to NPI, including single-source risks, capacity constraints, and long lead-time material dependencies.
- Lead Sourcing Activities: Own the end-to-end sourcing process for all new components, materials, and services required for NPI projects.
- Cost Management: Create and manage cost models, targeting cost reductions throughout the product lifecycle, especially during NPI.
- Negotiation: Handle RFQs and competitive bids. Negotiate pricing, lead times, inventory, and SLAs.
- Contracting: Draft, review, and manage supply agreements, NDAs, and SOWs with Legal.
- Supplier Readiness: Oversee part qualification (PPAP/FAIs) and confirm suppliers meet volume and quality standards.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier diversity goals.

The annual base salary range for this position is $92,800.00 – $116,000.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.”
