ABOUT THE POSITION:

Senior Procurement Manager at BURGA is more than just a title — it’s a front-row seat to the evolution of a brand that’s taking the world by storm. You'll be at the heart of an extremely versatile and fast-paced environment, where new collections, campaigns, and product launches will keep you sharp and excited.

Your Role: Take the lead in shaping our procurement strategy to ensure the best quality, cost, and efficiency. You’ll be the driving force behind sourcing the right suppliers, negotiating contracts, and optimizing purchasing decisions. Working closely with inventory, quality, and production teams, you’ll ensure smooth operations, cost savings, and supply chain stability.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

- Identify, evaluate and qualify new suppliers against project criteria - technical drawings and data sheets, materials, tooling and capacity, quality standards, minimum order quantities (MOQ), lead time and target cost.
- Negotiate the full commercial package: pricing, payment terms, lead times, capacity reservations, penalties, warranties, and long-term agreements with price indexation.
- Challenge every quote with data: cost breakdowns, should-cost models, and total cost (price, logistics and quality together).
- Manage your category budget and track raw material movements before they reach our product costs.
- Work closely with inventory, quality and production teams to align purchasing with operational needs, especially during new product launches.
- Keep supply stable: backup suppliers, clear supplier KPIs and a regular review cadence, and hands-on resolution when quality claims or delivery issues hit - root cause, financial recovery, prevention.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

- At least 3 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or production company.
- Experience qualifying suppliers from technical specification to first mass production run.
- Experience handling a serious supplier failure - quality, capacity or delivery including the commercial side of resolving it.
- Ability to work with technical documentation: drawings, data sheets, bills of materials, and material specifications.
- Strong negotiation skills covering payment terms, minimum order quantities, lead times, and long-term agreements, not only price.
- Ability to break down supplier prices, build should-cost models, and compare suppliers on total cost.
- Advanced Excel skills and interest in using AI tools for analysis.
- Ability to own a category, make supplier decisions independently, and manage several launches at the same time.
- Excellent command of English.

SALARY:  3700-4200 Eur/Month GROSS.
