Join Us at the Forefront of Quantum Computing Innovation 🚀

As Quandela scales its production and development capabilities, we are building a dedicated Procurement function. As the first Senior Procurement Manager, you will create the procurement department from the ground up—establishing processes, building a supplier panel, and acting as the strategic bridge between Quandela’s engineers and its supply chain. This is a high-impact role with clear evolution towards leading the full procurement department.

Your Key Responsibilities

Own and manage all direct procurement activities (hardware electronics, microelectronics, and related equipment),

    • Establish and negotiate contracts with key suppliers (T&Cs, pricing, payment terms, deadlines, quality requirements), reviewed by the Legal department
    • Build and maintain a qualified supplier panel to secure the supply chain
    • Define procurement specifications with operational teams prior to supplier selection, and act as owner across TQRCDE criteria (Technology, Quality, Responsibility, Compliance, Delay, Environment)
    • Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular performance reviews and benchmarks
    • Define and implement procurement processes (direct & indirect) and internal communication frameworks
    • Build forecasts and a strategic procurement plan aligned with production and development roadmaps
    • Manage supplier risk, including export control compliance (mainly Europe)
    • Ensure best practices across all procurement activities, in close collaboration with Production, Development, Finance, and Legal teams

Requirements
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in direct procurement, with a focus on hardware electronics, microelectronics, or equipment for the microelectronics industry
  • International experience and exposure to cross-border supplier management
  • Mastery of direct procurement processes and negotiation techniques
  • ERP proficiency and understanding of procurement process flows
  • Fluent English (written and spoken), essential for international supplier management
  • Active listening and ability to translate engineering needs into procurement specifications
  • Strong transversal relationship skills – comfortable managing 10+ internal stakeholders simultaneously
  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Rigorous, structured, and comfortable with workload management across multiple priorities

Benefits
  • Competitive salary, flexible based on your experience
  • Profit-sharing & company savings plan
  • 100% health coverage (Alan)
  • 50% transport reimbursement or sustainable mobility bonus
  • Meal vouchers (Swile), Gymlib fitness support
  • Childcare assistance & referral bonuses (€1,000–€2,000)
What we offer:
  • A meaningful role with real ownership, from day one
  • A team eager to collaborate and grow with you
  • A hybrid and flexible work model (3 days/week onsite in Massy)
  • Daily exposure to the entire quantum stack — from high-level APIs to low-level firmware, and everything in between.
Process
  • Talent Acquisition Interview (30' - 45')
  • Hiring Manager Interview (45')
  • Use Case (a live use case or one to be prepared at home and presented afterward)
