The Senior Procurement Analyst is responsible for preparing regular reports for the procurement leadership, providing necessary information to ensure proper procurement management operations, and proposing process improvements. This role actively supports EMEA Commodity Managers with analytical support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reporting

• Prepare standard weekly, monthly, or ad hoc reports and specific analyses as needed (e.g., PPV, IPV, Spend, PO line details, pricelist changes, etc.) and assist the Commodity Managers and procurement leadership team with data interpretation.

• Compile monthly KPI summaries for the department’s performance.

• Monitor and manage material inflation trends through various reports.

• Ensure accurate and complete data preparation for annual standard cost updates and budgeting

2. Data Analytics, Business Intelligence & Insights

• Utilize BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Oracle) to analyze procurement data.

• Identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and supplier performance insights.

• Provide analytical support for procurement decision-making, including spend analysis, contract compliance, and category management. Assess total cost of ownership (TCO) and cost drivers across different procurement categories

• Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and demand planning for procurement activities.

• Works with procurement data coordinator to ensure data consistency, integrity, completeness and accuracy

3. Continuous improvement & AI

• Collaborate with stakeholders in developing relevant dashboards, reports, and analytics tools to monitor procurement KPIs using PowerBI, Excel, SmartSheet, RPA and macros and AI

• Identify inefficiencies in procurement workflows and recommend data-driven improvements.

• Drive digital transformation initiatives by integrating AI/ML and automation in procurement analytics.

• Collaborate with IT/RPA/VOS and procurement teams to enhance data architecture and reporting structures to ensure alignment of BI tools with business needs.

• In collaboration with regional & global VOS teams drive change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of new processes and best practices within the organization.

• Implement sustainable changes by developing standard operating procedures and auditing processes to ensure long-term improvements.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by providing training and development programs, enhancing internal procurement teams’ capabilities.

4. Cross-functional Support

  • Provide active support to EMEA Commodity Managers with analyses
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure accurate data flow
  • Support strategic procurement initiatives through data analysis
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by manager

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: University degree
  • Experience: 1-2 years in similar position

Technical Skills:

• MS Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint - advanced user

• Database management

• Analytical thinking

• Strategic procurement knowledge

Language Skills:

• English - active knowledge

Soft Skills:

• Logical thinking capability

• Professional and efficient approach
