The Senior Product Excellence & Process Innovation Manger will be responsible for building and maintaining the programs used to set the Operational Standards for Material Yield, Product Excellence (Quality Attributes) and lead Tactical Strike Teams to determine root cause and corrective actions for network wide product quality incidents. This role will also focus on building and managing programs to enhance reliability in the manufacturing network.
This position will be responsible for designing and implementing Operational Standard programs within the Animal Nutrition (AN) network of manufacturing facilities that spans 55+ facilities with an operational budget in excess of $350MM that manufactures 4-5MM tons of animal nutrition products annually.
Duties:
Design & Implement Operational Standard Programs in Animal Nutrition
Manage operational standards to be deployed over the multi-site, variable archetype nationwide Animal Nutrition portfolio with an annual operating budget of $350MM
Create and Manage excess of 4 tons of animal nutrition products annually
Increase production across the plants over prior years, by working with cross functional team members.
Monitoring plant network performance for production and quality standards
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree is required. MBA a Plus
Required Experience:
5+ years of external feed manufacturing experience (10+ years of overall mfg experience outside of Land O Lakes).
Managing $200MM in Budgets
Must be willing to travel up to 40% of the time while working within non-environmentally controlled animal nutrition manufacturing facilities.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with plant floor employees to resolve operational challenges impacting product quality at the sites.
