We are looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support our project in oil and gas sector
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct Process engineering and design, process configuration and optimization studies
Perform Process simulations, prepare Process/Utility Flow Diagrams, Heat and Material Balance, Utility Balances
Create Piping and Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
Develop and review PFDs and P&IDs with a focus on hydraulic integrity and process efficiency
Develop Process equipment datasheets and instrument datasheets
Conduct relief and blowdown studies, analyze relief load scenarios and calculate flare network requirements
Perform process calculations for equipment sizing, line hydraulics and others
Support procurement by preparing technical specifications for hydraulic equipment and reviewing vendor documentation
Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and other safety reviews to ensure hydraulic systems are robust and compliant
Create Process design philosophies and operating guides
Collaborate on Concept Studies, Feasibility reports, Front- End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed design projects.
Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and startup phases
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards (API, ASME, ISO), and client requirements
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
Possess at least 12 years of experience
Good experience with LNG terminals and offshore/onshore Oil and Gas projects
Experience in managing process teams for Hydrocarbon projects
Strong background in the Oil & Gas industry with a focus on hydraulics in LNG
Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., PIPE-FLO, AFT Fathom, Aspen HYSYS)
In-depth understanding of process design, heat and material balance, and P&IDs
Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and process control
Experience with dynamic simulation tools and surge analysis
Preference given to candidates with Lead Engineer experience
Familiarity with international codes and standards, software and tools
