Job Description

As a Senior Process Engineer, you'll join Assystem’s renowned Nuclear Decommissioning Business Unit.

You’ll work on a variety of tasks, from asset care replacement to the design of new facilities. This critical work will help maintain vital sample analysis capabilities across nuclear sites.

  • 🛠️ Leverage a wide range of skills: From technical process engineering deliverables to effective communication and strong reasoning abilities.
  • 👫 Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team: Effective interaction with different specialists is key.
  • 🧪 Experience in nuclear environments: Knowledge of nuclear laboratories and process services is a plus.
  • 🔍 Site Access: You’ll need to access active areas  for inspection, observation, and record maintenance.

Qualifications

  • 🧑‍🎓 Chemical Engineering Degree
  • 🏅 Chartered Engineer (or working towards)
  • 🏗️ Knowledge of design including DSEAR, steam/gas delivery systems, PFDs, Basis of Design, and more.

Additional Information

Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.

Skills Required

  • Chemical Engineering degree
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership
