Senior Process Engineer

The opportunity

The Senior Process Engineer will develop and oversee the process design and process commissioning of wastewater treatment plants in Logan and potentially the Southeast Queensland area. 

This is a fulltime permanent position based out of the Logan Water office in Beenleigh, QLD. 

What you’ll do

• Responsible for the delivery of designs and design documentation, utilising other process designers and drafters, to deliver a high quality, robust, sustainable and innovative designs. 

• Work closely with the other design disciplines and project teams working as part of a team to delivery critical infrastructure for our clients.

• Manager all technical resource requirements for comprehensive process design and process commissioning and provides mentoring and development of teams. 

• Provide effective management oversight and co-ordination of the process engineers to drive efficiency, continuous improvement and project deliverables are issued when required.

What we’re looking for

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification, preferably a Degree in Engineering (Chemical / Process) or equivalent. 

• Eligible for membership of Engineers Australia.

• Chartered and RPEQ Engineer (or commenced the process).

• Construction Industry White card & Current Driver’s License

• Design of wastewater treatment plant processes.

• Optimisation of operating wastewater treatment plant processes.

• Minimum 10 years’ design / commissioning experience in water and wastewater sector 

• Proven ability in successful execution and commissioning of Wastewater Treatment infrastructure. 

• Ability to mentor and grow a team of highly skilled and experienced technical resources required for existing and emerging market opportunities. 

• Proven positive customer relationship experience and ability to build strong customer relationships that result in repeat business opportunities. 

• Experience in commissioning SCADA and communications. 

• Able develop review and modify wastewater process Unit process guidelines (UPG), Standard Operating procedures (SOP) Functional Description Specifications (FDS).
