As a Sr. Process Engineer at Honeywell, you will lead the deployment of a world-class operating system across our global PT-Sundyne manufacturing network. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, manufacturing standardization, productivity improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost performance across multiple sites.


You will serve as a key change agent, partnering with site leadership teams to identify and eliminate waste, optimize value streams, strengthen management systems, and accelerate sustainable business results. Through the application of Lean, Six Sigma, and Honeywell operational excellence principles, you will help build a culture of accountability, problem solving, and continuous improvement across Sundyne operations.


You will report directly to the Senior Director, ISC Operations and will be based in Arvada, Colorado, operating on a hybrid work schedule.


In this role, you will have a direct impact on operational performance, manufacturing consistency, and strategic growth by leading transformation initiatives, coaching leaders, and driving execution of business-wide operational excellence priorities.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the PT-Sundyne Operational Excellence strategy across multiple manufacturing locations.
  • Drive sustainable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost performance through Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Partner with site leadership teams to establish standardized operating practices and strengthen management operating systems.
  • Facilitate value stream assessments, Kaizen events, problem-solving workshops, and transformation activities focused on measurable business results.
  • Identify system-level improvement opportunities and lead cross-functional teams in implementing scalable solutions.
  • Utilize data and performance metrics to prioritize improvement efforts, monitor progress, and ensure accountability.
  • Champion root cause problem solving and disciplined execution across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering, and support functions.
  • Coach and develop leaders, managers, and site teams on Operational Excellence principles, Lean methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Share best practices across the global manufacturing network and drive replication of successful improvements.
  • Foster a culture of engagement, ownership, and continuous learning throughout the organization.
Qualifications

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, quality, engineering, or operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated success leading Lean transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience influencing and leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive business decisions and operational improvements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation, and change management skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally, 25%-40%, to PT-Sundyne manufacturing locations as business needs require.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $156,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
