About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support key business areas across our branch network, consumer deposits, and payments. Wells Fargo Consumer Banking and Lending (CBL) serves customers across the country through online and digital channels, numerous retail branches, ATMs, and customer service centers. CBL is focused on innovating and transforming our business with customers at the center, better enabling them to engage with us how, when, and wherever they choose through a broad suite of financial products and services.
In this role, you will:
  • Develop and lead process design or improvement initiatives
  • Create current state process maps and future-state target operating models
  • Utilize process expertise and data-driven analysis to support multiple business groups
  • Work on complex problems involving process segments to identify risks, impacts, and opportunities
  • Consult with leaders to understand, adapt research, and create alternatives for consideration
  • Effectively communicate relevant information to business partners and leadership
  • Develop and lead redesign initiatives that encompass analyses and future state redesigns
  • Manage assigned complex initiatives involving multiple business process segments to identify risks
  • Complete and lead integrated process analyses, identifying procedural and control deficiencies, improvement opportunities, and solutions to business problems
  • Consult with team to understand, influence, adapt research, and create alternatives for consideration, drive results, and bring issues to resolution
  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Process Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience driving process improvements and business results with measurable P&L impact
  • Process Engineering, Technology, Automation, or Operations background.
  • Experience developing low-code/no-code automation solutions
  • Knowledge of Power Platform, Alteryx, workflow technologies, and automation tools
  • Experience using Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, and related technologies to improve process efficiency, accelerate analysis, develop business insights, and support process transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Experience supporting production environments and operational processes.
  • Experience creating, documenting, and maintaining business process maps and process inventories
  • Fintech, Banking, and/or Consulting experience
  • SAS/SQL experience
  • Hands-on experience using iGrafx and/or Visio for process modeling, process documentation, workflow analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of business process management (BPM) methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies, risks, control gaps, and recommend sustainable solutions.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, risk, and compliance requirements within business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex processes and drive improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present process recommendations to leadership and business partners.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and consulting with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, process optimization, or operational excellence methodologies
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Hybrid work schedule. Must be able to work from one of the approved jobs posting locations three (3) days in office & two (2) days remote.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$87,000.00 - $154,000.00
