Senior Privacy Specialist
Location: Mumbai
Role Purpose
The Senior Specialist - Data Protection will ensure the security and privacy of the organization's data. This role involves developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures, and monitoring compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with data protection regulations and standards.
• Conduct data protection assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to address data protection issues.
• Provide training and support to data protection tool users.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Data Protection, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data protection.
• Knowledge of data protection regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification.
• Experience with data protection in a multinational corporation.
• Master's degree in Data Protection or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Proficiency in data protection tools and methodologies.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
