Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain privacy compliance documentation, including:
- Privacy Threshold Analyses (PTAs)
- Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
- System of Records Notices (SORNs)
- Information Sharing Agreements (ISAs)
- Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) documentation
- Coordinate with program offices and privacy officials to facilitate reviews and approvals.
- Support privacy compliance reviews and identify potential risks.
- Assist with business process analysis and privacy recommendations.
- Develop reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
- Participate in client meetings and provide project support.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3–5 years of experience supporting federal privacy programs or privacy compliance initiatives.
- Working knowledge of the Privacy Act, E-Government Act, and FISMA.
- Experience preparing privacy compliance documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
- Experience supporting FEMA, DHS, or other federal agencies.
- Familiarity with Privacy by Design principles.

Skills Required
- 8 years of consulting experience with federal client-facing focus
- 5 years experience in privacy and security operations, including enforcement of the Privacy Act, E-Government Act, and FISMA
- One year supervising an on-site team
- Experience developing, conducting, and improving privacy impact assessments in large organizations
- Experience preparing Privacy Threshold Analyses, Privacy Impact Assessments, Systems of Records Notices, Information Sharing Access Agreements, and PRA assessments
- Experience communicating privacy risks and mitigations to system owners and administrators
- Experience developing business process improvement documentation, gap analyses, and risk management artifacts
- Experience implementing tools and frameworks to support clients' future-state business initiatives
- Experience writing reports, briefings, and decks and presenting to clients
- Experience building relationships with senior-level federal officials and stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently and in teams, be proactive with little guidance, and think critically
- Bachelor's degree
- US citizenship
- Familiarity with project management tools (Google Sites, Microsoft Project, Slack, JIRA, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Planner)
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)
- Law or another advanced degree
- Detailed understanding of emerging privacy trends, tools, and legislative developments
- Experience implementing Privacy by Design into information systems
