The Role

As a Senior Principal in Upstream Oil & Gas, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end upstream transformation engagements, helping clients optimize exploration, production, and operational processes.
  • Provide expert guidance on leveraging digital technologies and data analytics to drive efficiency in upstream operations.
  • Design and execute transformation programs across key upstream domains, including reservoir management, production optimization, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Deliver innovative solutions that address operational challenges while supporting clients’ energy transition goals.
  • Build and manage multi-disciplinary consulting teams, fostering a high-performance, client-centric culture.
  • Drive business development activities, identifying new opportunities, developing compelling propositions, and securing key engagements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, delivering strategies that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enable sustainable growth.
Requirements

We are looking for a Senior Principal with:

  • Extensive experience in upstream oil and gas operations, with expertise in exploration, production, and asset management.
  • Strong understanding of subsurface technologies, drilling and completion operations, and production systems.
  • Proven track record of leading consulting engagements in upstream oil and gas, delivering measurable outcomes for clients.
  • Expertise in leveraging digital technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, and predictive analytics) and automation to optimize upstream processes.
  • Hands-on experience with upstream platforms and tools such as Petrel, Eclipse, PI System, and other industry-standard solutions.
  • Business development acumen, with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop propositions, and close deals.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading global, cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire senior stakeholders.
