The Senior Principal, Strategy, ACG, will support the All Conditions Gear brand which leads Nike in serving the outdoor athlete*. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Senior Principal who will work with senior ACG leadership to develop and implement the ACG global long-term strategy, identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities, and to catalyze action against these priorities through business planning processes.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As the Senior Principal, Strategy, ACG, you will be responsible for helping own the strategic planning process, authoring strategic plans, and serve as a critical thought partner to our senior leaders to explore complex business issues. In addition, you will independently lead cross-functional teams and be aligned to projects related to the below:

  • Build Integrated Growth Plans – Drive integrated actions to win with athletes* & drive profitable growth. Help leaders solve their most pressing strategic questions via long term growth plans. Complete rigorous strategic analysis and synthesize insights into compelling presentations for the organization.
  • Develop Future Strategies – Create the path for future Nike. Develop frameworks, analysis, and critical thinking to drive ACG’s largest growth opportunities. Scope the work, define workstreams, and serve as overall project quarterback.
  • Assess Impact – Diagnose results aligned to the plan & prioritize future actions. Support senior leader(s) to communicate strategies across the broader organization and develop important metrics to measure success.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • 8+ years of proven experience in a related field such as management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, business development, sport/retail or consumer goods.
  • A passion for and knowledge of the Outdoor industry, consumer and community or strong motivation to learn combined with relevant transferable experience
  • Experience in leading sophisticated strategic projects and proven success in leading a methodical process of analyzing problems, gathering information, generating options, then proposing and acting on a course of action.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, provide project management expertise, and to lead multiple projects at once.
  • Consistent track record of pulling together diverse individuals with different goals and facilitate productive discussions.
  • Proficiency in business communication tools and verbal/written storytelling + communication to promote conceptual understanding and mobilize change through storytelling.
  • Bias towards action and comfortable working in ambiguous environments, and ability to work through macro and micro situations/complexity.
  • Superior interpersonal and relationship building skills.
