What you’ll achieve

Work with our internal partners (Chief Technology Office, System Architects, Platform Planners) to architect new and innovative experiences spanning firmware, software and hardware for our client platforms. Provide strong technical point of view in decisions when collaborating across multiple lines of business; including industrial design, marketing, usability, quality, and reliability.

You will:

  • Create, design and review architectural collateral, documenting the scope of our firmware features. Prototype potential solutions to comprehend feasibility
  • Gather business requirements and drive product definition and prioritization for firmware features. Influence the hardware and software direction for features that span beyond firmware
  • Generate Intellectual Property to protect innovations
  • Balance short term versus long term actions, strategic vs tactical requirements, while continuing to align the architectural road map to achieve the strategic vision
  • Assess and optimize program tradeoffs such as cost, performance, quality, and schedule, while making the proper feature tradeoffs between firmware, electrical, power and thermal requirements
