Job Description:
What You'll Do
In this role, you will join the new Testing & Monitoring Strategy team; the team will be focused on centralizing Testing & Monitoring across the Payment Services Network to ensure consistency, oversight, and efficient risk management. You will work cross functionally with stakeholders to ensure functional areas across the Network have a documented approach to managing Participant adherence to Network rules.
Plans and oversees execution of business architecture-driven initiatives while ensuring necessary functionality and flexibility aligned with the company's long term objectives. Oversees execution on strategy and pipeline of projects and integration management.

  • Structure program delivery to ensure Testing & Monitoring Strategy is delivered on time according to leadership commitments
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules to ensure timely delivery of milestones utilizing technology/software
  • Creation and documentation of actionable steps needed to achieve program success


How You'll Do It

  • Organizes and enables collaboration and partnership across cross-functional teams, with internal and external partners, executes on strategy & architecture driven initiatives. Drives or assists in communications on strategic initiatives to help drive consensus, achieve clarity and solve business problems. Provide oversight & process guidance for activities.
  • Drives or assists research and/or brainstorming sessions; helps promote a culture of innovation within the department. Translates ideas and concepts into an executable projects.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to teams/business units where there is no clear organizational ownership yet defined or where products/technology is not yet institutionalized or adopted.
  • Mentors and assists more junior team members.
  • Understands and tracks trends and strategies in area of responsibility, represent Discover when working with external parties.


Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics

  • Bachelors Continuous Improvement, Bachelors Business Administration and Management
  • 8+ years Project Management, or related experience
  • In Lieu of Education: 10+ years of Project Management, or related experience

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $106,000.00 to $178,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
