We lead and deliver the entire lifecycle from product definition and planning through to production and release. We also oversee modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Principal Product Development Manager, you will get opportunities to manage high-complexity products through the entire lifecycle. You will drive solution and release readiness and gather best practices from across portfolios and business units. Moreover, you will collaborate with and mentor your team members in designing program management practices.
You will:

  • Manages high complexity products through entire lifecycle, and support decisions regarding enhancements throughout the lifecycle until product End of Life (EOL). Ensures dependency and deliverable tracking across products/solutions/functions

  • Drives Solution Readiness and release readiness (organization wide). Ensures a plan is in place for key corporate initiatives (Federal, Security, Globalization)

  • Defines the program risk management plan and drives mitigation and resolutions

  • Proliferate best practices from releases across Portfolio and BU's. Drives consistent and accurate cross functional program metrics

  • Designs standard program management practices, collaborates with and mentors other members of the product management org

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge and application of engineering concepts

  • Understanding of business environment. Solid understanding of the competition

Desirable Requirements

  • Typically requires 12+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelors degree; or 8+ years with a Masters degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience

  • Has PC development experience is preferred
