More about our mission and what we offer.
Job DescriptionRole Overview
We are seeking an exceptional, battle-tested Program Manager / Delivery Leader to join our Implementation Management team. In this role, you will take single-threaded ownership of high-stakes projects across product, engineering, compliance, and operations.
You will not merely track tasks or facilitate meetings. You will act as an empowered Driver and Integrator—a domain-smart program leader who deeply understands technical and operational context, stress-tests assumptions, anticipates cross-workstream collisions, and ensures our control environment meets regulatory expectations sustainably and on time.
What You’ll Do
Lead Cross-Domain Initiatives: Take single-threaded ownership of high-impact, cross-squad projects—ranging from high-stakes compliance and regulatory commitments to core platform migrations, control rollouts, product launches.
Drive Program Management Lifecycle: Hold the pen on end-to-end program governance. Author clear program briefs and plans, define clear outcomes, structure exception-led delivery forums, and maintain appropriate program artefacts and drive accountability across teams.
Guide Informed Decision-Making: Build a solid understanding of the domain you own (AML, KYC, Fraud, Screening etc) and technical architectures you align with. Use this context to stress-test plans, challenge assumptions, anticipate cross-workstream collisions, and guide senior stakeholders through critical trade-offs.
Drive Pragmatic, Hands-On Delivery: Work comfortably at the intersection of product delivery and technical systems. You don't need to review deep technical specifications, but you are comfortable reading architecture diagrams, asking challenging technical questions or creating simple dashboards.
Leave the Place Better Than You Found It: Assume every process executed today will be repeated tomorrow. Document workflows, automate manual steps, eliminate administrative friction, and establish telemetry to scale future execution across the organization.
What You’ll Bring
8+ Years of Relevant Experience: Proven track record of delivering cross-functional technical or operational projects as an Program manager, Implementation Manager, Technical Program Manager (TPM), Technical Consultant, Product manager, Project Manager or Fintech Delivery Lead.
Program Management Excellence: Strong foundation in project/program delivery best practices—from scoping and brief writing to designing governance structures, stakeholder reporting, and post-implementation audits. Expert-level practitioner and advocate of modern project management platforms.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication. Ability to adjust messaging seamlessly whether facilitating alignment with product managers, clarifying requirements with engineers, or updating business leaders.
Systems Literacy & First-Principles Problem Solving: Ability to decompose complex programs back to first principles, interpret system architecture flows, and ask sharp, probing questions across business, technical, and operational delivery dimensions.
Pattern Recognition & Structured Thinking: Ability to absorb unstructured information across disparate domains, spot commonalities, and design standardized, repeatable frameworks.
Better-Done-Than-Perfect Ethos: A pragmatic drive for process optimization and a natural discomfort with 'status theatre' or busywork. Passion for getting hands dirty to solve real operational bottlenecks.
What You’ll benefit from
Broad Domain Exposure: Direct experience leading initiatives across Fintech, Payments, Financial Crime, Risk/Compliance, or core Platform Architecture.
Data & Automation Literacy: Familiarity with automation tools, data analytics or expert knowledge of Atlassian suite and its utilisation at scale.
Scaling Product Organizations: Experience establishing delivery governance within fast-growing, product-led technology organizations.
Professional Accreditations: Formal accreditation in Program Management (MSP, PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe) or Financial Crime (ACAMS, ICA).
- Base salary: £90,000 - £150,000 gross/year (based on experience & interview outcomes)
Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
