Role: Machine Learning (ML) & Generative AI Engineer – Actuarial Domain Preferred

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced ML & Generative AI Engineer to design, develop and deploy scalable AI and machine learning solutions with a focus on actuarial s domain. The role involves collaborating closely with the actuarial and technology partners to design and operationalize GenAI tools that enhance business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning and GenAI models for business applications.
- Collaborate with domain experts to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions.
- Design and execute proof-of-concepts to demonstrate feasibility and potential impact
- Integrate AI/ML solutions into existing actuarial workflows and systems
- Fine-tune and implement Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI frameworks.
- Develop pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment in production environments.
- Ensure model governance, documentation, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in GenAI, ML Ops, and cloud-based model deployment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent ML frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, transformer architectures, or generative AI tools (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI, HuggingFace).
- Experience with model deployment in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with data engineering and API integration concepts.
- Exposure to the actuarial, financial services, or insurance domain preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration and communication skills to interface with cross-functional teams.
