We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Software Engineer with a deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, development, and integration, as well as a strong record of delivering scalable solutions. Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators.

Provide technical guidance on Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and integration strategies.

Review and approve code to maintain quality standards and adherence to best practices.

Design and implement scalable, robust Salesforce solutions aligned with business requirements.

Develop custom applications and integrations using Salesforce technologies (Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, etc.).

Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution architecture, design specifications, and user guides.

Collaborate with product and project managers to define project scope and timelines.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet stakeholder expectations.

Manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.

Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to clarify technical concepts and project status.

Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

Collaborate with geographically distributed teams to meet project deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in Salesforce declarative development, code development, and architecture.

Proven experience in technical leadership.

Proficiency in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).

Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.

Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Node.js.

Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

Expertise in Salesforce data models, security, and performance tuning.

Familiarity with Data Cloud, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices in a Salesforce environment.

Salesforce Administrator certification; Salesforce Architect certification preferred.

User-centric mindset.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Knowledge of other CRM platforms and integration experience.

Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange products and third-party integrations.

Understanding of business processes in sales, marketing, and customer service.

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on discretionary annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock or long-term incentive cash grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
