We are seeking a talented individual to join our AMSI at Marsh. This role will be based in Noida/Gurgaon/Pune/Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
- Strong understanding of network topology (three-tier architecture).
- Experience upgrading/patching application hosted on Linux Platform.
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud platform, including deep understanding of AWS core services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Lambda, and RDS.
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking concepts including VPC design, subnets, route tables, security groups, and NACLs.
- Experience implementing and managing AWS security best practices, including IAM policies, roles, and key management.
- Working knowledge of Orchestration tools like GitHub Actions, Oracle Linux Automation Manager (OLAM).
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management processes.
- Proven ability to participate in and drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) calls to identify and implement permanent solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must
- Goal oriented individual with ability to multi-task and work on concurrent projects, meeting client expectations and deadlines
What you need to have:
- Participate in providing 24X7 support and administrating Oracle Linux hosted systems
- Must work in shift rotations (APAC and US hours)
- Onboard and administer business applications in both cloud (AWS) and non-cloud infrastructure. Also working with technology groups to set up AWS and/or Azure native services.
- Interact with various technology groups within our company to investigate and resolve issues.
- Participate in internal team meetings, scoping, decision making and technical documentation.
- Lead and participate in problem management calls and RCA sessions to identify root causes and drive implementation of permanent corrective actions.
- Propose innovative automation solutions to improve system reliability, reduce manual effort, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
What makes you stand out?
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell.
- Familiarity with AWS automation and infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
- Some experience with other Cloud computing platforms like Azure
