Your Team, Your Impact

We are seeking a Senior Principal DevOps Engineer to serve as a strategic technical leader in our DevOps organization. This role will drive the design, implementation, and evolution of our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, observability platforms, and cloud-native deployments. You’ll partner closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient platforms that empower our product and development teams to ship faster and with confidence.
You’ll play a critical role in shaping our infrastructure strategy, mentoring DevOps engineers, and influencing architectural decisions across the Engineering IT organization.

What You Can Expect

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and evolve the design and architecture of our DevOps frameworks and cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for a variety of application stacks (microservices, data platforms, etc.).
  • Architect and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK, etc.
  • Champion the adoption of observability best practices (logging, tracing, alerting, metrics).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, architecture, and security teams to align infrastructure with application needs.
  • Design and implement automated scaling, self-healing, and failover strategies to ensure system resiliency.
  • Lead incident response and post-mortem practices, helping drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Mentor DevOps engineers and contribute to technical leadership across teams.
  • Stay current on DevOps, platform engineering, and SRE trends; evaluate new tools and technologies to improve developer productivity and system reliability.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
  • Solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and security controls in cloud-native environments.
  • Programming/scripting in languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking mindset; able to break down complex issues.
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor others.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in high-compliance environments (e.g., PCI, HIPAA, FedRAMP).
  • Background in platform engineering or developer enablement.
  • Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd, Consul).
  • Understanding of cost optimization strategies in cloud infrastructure.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

150,300 - 222,440, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
