The PositionThe Roche Diagnostics Division is on an exciting journey to become more data-driven, recognizing data as a critical asset to grow our business and continuously learn and optimise. This transformation is driven by the implementation of a comprehensive data strategy and a new data operating and governance model, overseen by the Diagnostics Data Office (DDO).
We are seeking an experienced Data Adoption Lead with a strong background in the life sciences industry. In this position, you will liaise with key business and technical stakeholders to provide strategies and approaches in order to achieve the vision of the Roche Diagnostics Data Strategy, where data is shared and used again, and again, and again.
The OpportunityLead and oversee high-impact projects that serve as catalysts for the global Dia Data Strategy, translating high-level objectives into actionable, scalable organizational roadmaps, ensuring seamless and secure data flows from diagnostic cobas and navify products.
Act as a strategic partner and identify, evaluate, and refine the most effective methodologies to achieve strategic goals within diverse business contexts.
Navigate a complex global matrix to align stakeholders across diverse regions and impacted areas, including Senior Management, Affiliates, Legal and technical and data experts.
Act as a lead moderator to resolve cross-functional frictions, bridging the gap between technical requirements, legal constraints, and business needs.
Proactively identify organizational burdens and systemic bottlenecks that hinder data strategy adoption; design and deploy creative solutions to dismantle these obstacles.
Empower and coach contributors and teams, providing them with the tools and mindset necessary to lead change within their own domains.
Contribute to cross-domain data governance such that interoperability and combination of data products is straightforward along the whole lifecycle, e.g. reliant on codified and automated policies.
Who you areA Master's degree in Informatics, Engineering or equivalent and 10+ years of experience in life science, healthcare or medtech industries
8+ years of experience in business analysis, architecture, project and change management
Preferably 4+ years experience in Business Coaching and Organizational Development
Result-oriented with a demonstrated history of delivering in complex environments
Strong affinity for data and information
Proven track record of communicating and working with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, from data engineers and scientists to senior business leaders
Sound knowledge of modern data architecture methods and approaches (Domain-Driven Design, Data Mesh, FAIR principles, etc.)
Fluent in English (German is a plus)
