Summary Generated by Built In

Our Oracle group helps organisations improve the way they operate, enabling greater efficiency, better decisions and stronger business performance. We bring deep expertise in Oracle Cloud, including Fusion Applications, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AI. From strategic advisory and solution architecture through to implementation, integration, cloud migration, testing, change management and ongoing support, we work closely with our clients to deliver complex enterprise transformation programmes that simplify operations, strengthen business agility and realise lasting value from their Oracle investment.

Bring your expertise to our team as an Oracle HCM Principal Consultant, leading Oracle HCM Cloud delivery, solution architecture, pre-sales, and AI-enabled workforce solutions. Working across Australia and New Zealand, you'll support both project delivery and business growth, leveraging expertise in Core HR, Recruitment, Onboarding, Talent, Performance, Learning, Compensation, and HCM Analytics.

You will play a dual role spanning project delivery and pre-sales, supporting NRI’s growth in Oracle HCM Cloud and emerging Oracle AI solutions across Australia and New Zealand, as part of an Agile delivery team working across multiple Oracle HCM Cloud implementations and advisory engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, architecture, and solution development of Oracle HCM Cloud and related technologies, producing functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and integration blueprints.
  • Contribute to NRI’s Oracle AI strategy, helping clients understand and adopt Oracle’s AI-driven capabilities such as:
  • Oracle AI Agents, Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA), Generative AI-enhanced HCM insights, and Oracle Guided Learning.
  • In pre-sales, you will collaborate with NRI’s Oracle leadership and Oracle Corporation to:
  • Develop and present solution demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
  • Support RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Shape go-to-market offerings for Oracle HCM and Oracle AI innovations.
  • Manage and develop senior stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issue management to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
  • Lead functional and technical teams comprising both onshore and offshore consultants, ensuring quality, collaboration, and capability growth.
  • Take a leadership role in building NRI’s HCM Cloud IP library, reusable assets, and accelerators aligned with Oracle Modern Best Practice and Oracle Redwood UI.

Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience with enterprise HCM business applications, including at least 5+ years implementing Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Proven delivery of Tier-1 Oracle Cloud transformations with strong understanding of HR business processes.
  • Pre-Sales experience—capable of engaging customers during discovery, designing solution architectures, preparing proposals, and presenting demonstrations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Oracle AI capabilities including:
  • Oracle AI Agents, Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA), and GenAI in HCM.
  • Experience advising customers on AI-driven HR automation, analytics, and employee experience improvements.
  • Integration experience essential, familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and open interface frameworks.
  • Oracle HCM Cloud certifications (one or more) and Project Management or Architecture certification desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage complex Oracle projects, including planning, resource coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Exposure to Oracle E-Business Suite or PeopleSoft HCM, particularly in transformation or migration to Oracle Cloud (Fusion or OCI), advantageous.
  • Experience in writing business process, functional, and technical design documentation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with HR Directors, CIOs, and senior business executives.
  • Experience developing Oracle HCM Cloud roadmaps and transformation strategies, highlighting the value of Cloud and AI adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams (onshore/offshore) and foster collaboration within an agile delivery model.
  • Strong consultancy mindset—trusted advisor capable of influencing client outcomes and representing NRI at executive levels.
