Capco’s Data Team helps our clients transform every aspect of their business. We are highly skilled at formulating data strategy, defining business and technology initiatives across the data management lifecycle and aligning multi-year strategic roadmaps with clients’ business goals. As digital technologies advance and regulations tighten, today’s consumers and today’s businesses are becoming more aware of the importance of good quality data. We work to establish holistic ways to effectively manage data through the modern data supply chain and facilitate consumption through analytics, modelling, AI, machine learning, dashboarding, and reporting.
What You'll Get to Do
- Design and implement enterprise Data Governance and Data Management Frameworks for leading financial institutions.
- Define and operationalise data ownership, stewardship, critical data elements (CDEs), business glossaries, metadata, lineage and data quality controls.
- Help clients strengthen Data Quality, Metadata Management, Master Data Management and Data Architecture capabilities.
- Shape governance operating models, policies, standards and controls that work in practice.
- Support regulatory and risk-driven initiatives involving data sovereignty, residency, privacy and cross-border data.
- Work with business, technology, risk, compliance and senior leadership to solve complex enterprise data challenges.
- Use platforms such as Collibra, Informatica, Microsoft Purview and Ab Initio to improve data transparency, lineage and control.
- Contribute to major data transformation programmes and help clients prepare their data estates for cloud, analytics and AI.
What You'll Bring With You
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years' proven experience across Data Governance, Data Management or enterprise data transformation, ideally within Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance or Capital Markets.
- Knowledge of industry frameworks such as DCAM, Data Governance Operating Models, Control Frameworks, and Data Lifecycle Management.
- Experience with Data Lineage, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Architecture.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior executives, regulators, and cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience with Collibra (preferred) or other enterprise data governance and metadata management tools.
- Experience delivering projects using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
- Fluent English communication skills.
You do not need to tick every box. If your experience is primarily in one or two areas of Data Governance or Data Management and you’re interested in broadening your expertise through consulting, we’d still like to hear from you.
Nice to Have
Exposure to DCAM, DAMA/CDMP, BCBS 239, GDPR, PIPL, MAS TRM or similar regulatory/data management frameworks is valuable, as is experience with cloud data platforms or certifications across AWS, Azure or GCP.
