The Senior Principal Account Manager, Global Accounts is responsible for leading Analog Devices’ (ADI) global account strategy and driving sales execution for a leading North American Automotive OEM. The Global Account Leader will drive strategic alignment between ADI’s Automotive Business Unit and the customer’s long-term business and technology objectives, influencing E/E architecture decisions and enabling sustainable revenue growth.
This role requires the development of senior executive relationships to foster strong collaboration and ensure alignment with ADI’s strategic priorities at the highest levels of the organization.
Candidates can be based anywhere in the U.S., with ability and willingness to travel to customer locations approximately 30-50% (depending on location).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Drive profitable revenue growth and market share expansion within the assigned global account
- Engage deeply across the customer’s decision-making lifecycle, from early solution definition through design win and commercialization
- Establish ADI as a trusted strategic partner by developing a deep understanding of customer business and technical challenges and delivering differentiated, value-based solutions
- Translate customer strategies and requirements into actionable internal plans, aligning cross-functional stakeholders to address complex business opportunities
- Lead and coordinate global, cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and convert opportunities into revenue
- Lead the global OEM account team to ensure effective coverage across key customer sites and regions
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Strategic Account Plan, including long-range (multi-year) revenue growth objectives
- Lead commercial engagements, including contract negotiations and pricing strategies, to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Provide regular business updates and account insights to ADI senior leadership
- Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers at all organizational levels, including executive leadership
- Own overall account performance, including proactive management and resolution of customer business issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related technical discipline; advanced degree (MBA) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-evolving automotive and semiconductor technology environment
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, account management, product marketing, or related customer-facing roles, with a strong track record of results
- Proven expertise in semiconductor sales processes, including early-stage customer engagement and design-in strategy
- Strong executive communication and influencing skills, with the ability to constructively challenge and drive alignment
- Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities across matrixed organizations
- Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to leverage cross-functional expertise to achieve business objectives
- High level of personal drive, resilience, and accountability, with a focus on delivering market leadership outcomes
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 10% or more), including overnight stays
