The Leidos National Security Sector has an exciting career opportunity in our Pricing Department for an experienced federal government Senior Pricing Analyst. The successful individual will be able to work both independently and as part of a proposal team, have experience developing outstanding and compliant pricing and cost/price proposal narratives. They will be capable of leading the cost/price activities including pricing strategy, RFP review and compliance, and cost/price customer deliverables while meeting deadlines. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a demonstrated track record of problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop winning Cost/Price proposals for the corporation’s large and complex proposals.
- Lead the cost/price proposal development; coordinate with contracts, subcontracts, procurement, capture management, finance, and technical estimators to produce current, accurate, complete, compliant, and compelling Cost/Price proposals.
- Be an integral part of the proposal development. Participate in pricing strategy and price-to-win discussions. Conduct peer reviews, color reviews and white glove pre-submittal reviews, etc.
- Prepare pricing files and customer deliverables in Excel/ProPricer (as applicable) in accordance with company policies and RFP instructions.
- Mentor and train less experienced professional employees.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline with 8+ years of experience in government contracting and pricing analysis. Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in all aspects of government proposal development, pricing strategy, government contracting and contract types (Cost-Plus, FFP, T&M, IDIQ, GSA Schedules, etc.).
- Experience developing large and complex government Cost/Price volumes.
- Experience leading proposal cost volume development and pricing team.
- A good working knowledge of FAR/DFAR, CAS, DCMA/DCAA, and basic estimating methodologies.
- Experience overseeing a bid from draft-RFP through its successful proposal submittal and award, with the understanding some evening and weekend work may occasionally be required.
- Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and knowledge of pricing tools and templates, and ability to model business cases.
- Ability to build dynamic Excel pricing models and to handle large/complex data sets.
- Demonstrated ability to understand government/customer requirements and apply contracting and pricing principles.
- Must be internal and external customer focused and possess professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Possess a Final TS Clearance with the ability to acquire and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with international proposals
- Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables)
- ProPricer experience

Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
