About the Role:

We are seeking Senior Pricing Analyst who can combine rigorous statistical analysis and strong partner management to deliver and execute on smart pricing strategies across EMEA/APAC regions corridors and enhance overall customer lifetime value.

Within this role, you will partner and collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Business Management, Pricing Product, Engineering, and Finance based in Europe, Sydney, and Seattle.

You'll be responsible for deep diving into customer behaviour across different customer segments to understand the interaction between and impact of our pricing and subsequently partner with Business Managers to create pricing/packaging hypotheses, set up tests and analyse performance.

Because the decisions made by this role directly affect the prices we are giving customers, the ideal candidate is extremely responsive and demonstrates a high degree of ownership.

You will report directly to Head of Pricing Analytics, the role will be hybrid (2-3 days a week onsite) and is based in our London office.

You Will:

  • Proactively think about customer behaviour challenges and coming up with pricing hypotheses to solve for them
  • Partner with other members of the team to build pricing strategies and analyse customer behaviour across our European and APAC regions
  • Conduct profitability analysis of our pricing strategies and critically assess price optimisation opportunities
  • Provide insightful statistical and econometric analyses that extract value from complex datasets and achieve targeted outcomes
  • Build tools to automate and optimise aspects of Remitly's pricing to improve efficiency

You Have:

  • Degree in Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Statistics, Maths, or a related discipline that blends quantitative and qualitative analysis. Bachelor's degree required, Master's or PhD degree preferred.
  • Experience with statistical/econometric modelling, expertise in SQL and familiarity with R, Python, or other programming languages
  • Knowledge of data visualisation and related tools (e.g. Tableau, Mode)
  • Success applying statistical methods to complex and open-ended problems
  • Experience managing stakeholders, communication with executives, channel owners, partners, and contributing to projects and meetings
